Making Bets in Evoplay French Roulette
Placing bets are simple. First click the size of chip you want to bet. Then select the number you want to bet on and click it.
If you make a mistake and place an incorrect bet, click the x and select the incorrect bet and it will clear it.
Types of Inside Bets Accepted
You can make such inside bets such as those listed below:
- En Plein: Straight or single Bets on any single number.
- Cheval: Split bet is when you place a bet on two numbers placed on the line between 2 numbers.
- Transversale: Street bet when placed on edge of a chosen row of 3 numbers. Place on the line that separates inside and outside bets.
- Carre: Corner bet placed on four numbers. Placed on the intersection of 4 numbers.
- Sixainne: Six line bet placed on two rows (six numbers). Placed at the beginning of the line that divides 2 rows.
Each of these above bets are an inside bet. These are all placed on the inside area of the table or board.
Outside Bets Accepted
A very popular type of bet in French roulette are outside bets.
- Colonne: Column bet, this is a bet placed on 12 numbers of any column, left middle or right. Some call this a row bet and it is placed in the square on the right side of the table for the row you are betting.
- Douzaine: A dozen bet for 12 numbers in 3 consecutive rows. Place the chip in the spot marked P, M or D.
- Red of Black: A red or black bet places a bet on either all red numbers or all black numbers. Place this type of bet on the red or the black diamond.
- Impair – Pair: Odd or even bet. Use this bet when you want to choose all even numbers or all odd numbers. Place this bet on the box labeled Impair or Pair.
- Manque – Passe: A high or low bet. This is a bet on the high numbers of 19-36 or low 1-18. Place this bet on the box labeled Manaque or Passe.
Each of these types of bets are outside bets. These bets are placed on the outside areas of the table.
Call Bets are Accepted
Call bets are a bit less common but a fun addition.
- Voisins de Zero: Bets in the voisins de zero section are placed on 22,18,29,7,28,12,35,3,26,0,32,15,19,4,21,2,25.
- Jeo 0: A zero bet. Four chips or a multiple of four. This is a bet on the numbers 32/35,26,12/15,0/3.
- Tu du cylinder: Known as a tier bet. Six chips bet on the numbers 27,13,36,11,30,8,23,10,5,24,16,33. A tier bet is a six chip bet.
- Orphelins a cheval: Orphelins is a bet on 17,34,6,1,20,14,31,9. The orphelins is a five chip bet.
- Voisine: Neighbors bet. This bet is on the number you select as well as two numbers or neighbors to the right and 2 neighbors to the left. It is a 5 chip bet.
These bets are easily placed. You choose the bet amount, then clicking the appropriate cell labeled the bet you want to place. The call bet section is on the left side of the board.
Be aware that many of the call bets are at a cost of multiple chips per spin. As an example, a 1 dollar orphelins bet will cost 5 dollars. This example reflects a 1 dollar chip on each of the 5 numbers.
Making Extra Bets in Evoplay French Roulette
There are a set of extra bets listed in a drop down in the upper right corner of the table. Click the + plus sign and you can see the list available. Below are the various types.
- Finales en Plein: Last number bets. For example last number 5 would be a bet n all numbers that end in 5. Such as 5,15,25,35.
- Jeu: A 6 chip bet on 19,27,7/8,8/9,17/18and 28/29.
- Finales en a cheval: Special bets made on number that end in the last 2 numbers of your choice. As an example a Finales bet on 3/4 would bet on 3,4,13,14,23,24,33,34.
Special La Partage Rule
This is a special rule when the end result lands on zero. It is only in effect when a bet is placed on equal chances such as red/black, odd/even, more/less. The player may not take the bet but must leave it for the game.

French Roulette Prison Rule
Known as the Rule en Prison. This is a special rule normally only seen rarely in some versions of French roulette. This rule comes in to play any time the number comes up as zero and you have not bet on it. This roulette prison rule gives you a chance to recoup your bet or a portion of it. This is not in effect in equal chance bets as explained above.
